Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Opeyemi Adesanya
Opeyemi Adesanya is a man with diverse graces, but likes to be known as a child of God. He has served in several leadership and pastoral capacities in Nigeria and United States. While in College in Nigeria, he was the President of a Redeemed Christian Student fellowship on campus. A place he believed God actually used to prepare him for the assignment that lies ahead of him.
In an encounter with God on Thursday December 13, 2003 the Lord spoke to him in audible voice for the first time in his life saying “Son, my people are bound till now and I want their quick release. I am sending you to undertake this task with the instrumentality of word of power”. He started preparing himself ever since. He relocated to the United States afterwards in pursuance of master’s degree, and on the first night the Lord encountered him saying “ I have not only brought you here to study, from hereon you will start my work…” He served as an Associate pastor in churches in the United States from 2010 – 2017.
On June 13, 2017 in a fellowship with God, the Lord spoke to him saying “the time for the assignment is here…go in and release captives and establish destinies for me”.
He kept these things in his heart until several confirmations came, and he yielded to the leading of the Lord to pioneer Destiny GloryHouse International Church on January 21st, 2018 in his living room. He is married to Minister Iretioluwa Adesanya and are both blessed with a girl and a boy. He is an author of several books and speaker at churches and conferences.
